i came in saturday and it was very busy so my food took awhile but it was worth the wait! i had the blue o and i loved it, service was fantastic! it was just took a long time.

Sushi-loving nerds rejoice! This is the perfect date spot for any night spent out in the loop. Walking into the restaurant is interesting because they nail the balance between a sleek, upscale sushi restaurant land and a shrine to visually stunning Japanese cultural touchstones like Gundam, Godzilla, and Studio Ghibli. The waiter was very friendly and told us that they hire muralists to come in and redecorate the walls pretty often, too. The rolls were great, and the cocktails had unique twist on old favorites. We had a "French 69" that definitely gave our evening a happy ending.

If you're looking for a variety of Asian cuisine then Blue Ocean is for you! They've got an array for different sushi rolls, nigiri & sashimi. There's even a page that GF & DF which is super nice for people's dietary needs! Not only do they have sushi rolls but they've got ramen too. I had the Spicy Beef Ramen & it was soooo good! I would definitely recommend trying it if you haven't! I've been looking for a good ramen place, not pho. The vibe is super cool, I love how dark it is in there for a late night dinner, they've also got fun graffiti type painting on the walls with fun art & what not. Our waitress was helpful & patient with us. She was great. I definitely recommend Blue Ocean in the Delmar Loop!
